Through Her Eyes is a project about the way my grandmother may have seen my cousin grow up if she were still with us. She passed when he was only two so she isn't able to see the amazing person he's growing up to be. In turn, he isn't able to have all the wonderful memories that I share with my grandmother. While I was home during break, I photographed my cousin as if I saw him through her eyes.
My grandmother was blind due to complications with diabetes so the projects original presentation was done with silver gelatin prints, then layered on top was blurred transparencies of the same image to show how she may have seen the moments in real time.
